Dr. Wexler has attained the highest level of accreditation and engages in ongoing education to stay current on the latest scientific information and trends in gastroenterology and hepatology.
Dr. Wexler is a past president of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway and serves on their Board of Trustees. He has been active in hospital leadership and served as Chief of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy at Trinitas regional Medical Center and at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Rahway for many years. Dr. Wexler shared his passion for educating bright, young minds as an assistant professor of medicine at UMDNJ, University Hospital in Newark, NJ and as a Professor of Medicine at Seton Hall University School of Graduate Medical Education at Trinitas Regional Medical Center in Elizabeth, NJ. Dr. Wexler now practices full-time at his office in Clark, New Jersey where he offers a full range of services to both his gastroenterology (GI) and hepatology (liver) patients. Dr. Wexler is a recognized expert in the therapeutic endoscopic removal of gallstones, polyps, and small tumors via advanced techniques that provide accurate, non-surgical treatment in many cases. Dr. Wexler is also recognized for his excellent outcomes in working with patients with Hepatitis C.
